Since then, guitarist/singer Paul Gott has been the only keystone of the grouping, with a ever-changing vagabond of bassists and drummers falling into the Ripcordz ranks. In 1992 they released deuce albums, Kidnoise and On that point Ain't No "H" in Ripcordz, Dork-Face, the latter of which revealed the band's passion of outstandingly long album titles. Other releases include Your Mother Wears Army Boots But Man She Looks So Cool (1996), Is That a Squeegee in Your Pocket or Are You Just Happy to See Me? (1998), and It's Never Too Late to Annoy Your Parents (2000). In 2003, the Ripcordz returned with What if They Held a Revolution and Nobody Came? on Mayday Records; the following year Mayday reissued their 1988 debut, Ripcordz ar Go! |
